Webpage layout shuffle and Bunnies!

For those of you who actually read this blog consistently you will have noticed that I change the layout every couple of weeks…. I apologize for this.  I am still trying to find a layout that I Love. While surfing around on DA I fell across this cute little picture and just loved the yarn effect on this bunny! Along with the stitched mountain in the background it’s really fired up my brain and given me a better focus for how I would like the header and layout to look. By no means will it look like this but I will consider this picture my crafting muse!

This picture is done by the very talented Ms. Lilibz of Deviantart. Her website is full of very cute drawings and amazing colors. She very graciously gave me permission to post this picture so please go give her website some love.

I just love the feel of this cute picture I’m not a huge fan of pink but this gives the artist friends an idea of what I’m sort of looking for. I’m trying to incorporate so many different crafts into the header that it was nice to just browse around Deviantart and find something so simple and cute. Hopefully in a month or two I will have a layout I love roll out and this constant every couple of weeks changing the background stuff will stop. 🙂

Speaking of bunnies

Since I am making this post about a cute bunny picture this is a perfect time to introduce “The Queen”.  So my little cousin just turned the whopping 3 years old and for her birthday I made a cute little bunny this pattern was created by the talented Ms. Stephanie Jessica Lau. It was a super quick super easy pattern to follow, along with a great walk through chart for embroidering the nose on the bunny. I would highly recommend this for someone who is an advanced beginner and has some patience for the hand stitching. The bunny took me about 3 hrs. to make so maybe 5-6 hrs for a beginner. And if your curious the bunny was a hit with the birthday queen. 😉 I’m even contemplating making one in purple for me.

On another note the walk through video of diamond ridges is at the chopping up and assembling stage I bought a better webcam and recorded in one sitting and am now editing it. For those who are really patiently waiting I thank you.
